If I find and am very interested in your lindera course after it's already in progress, do I have to wait till next year's course or can I jump right in?

Ultimately, that's up to you, based on what feels good on your end.  While it would always be great to start when the course does, I understand that sometimes things have come together to create an opportunity and the time feels right.  All the previously released course content will be available, all the zoom discussion meetings will have been recorded and uploaded for your review, and there's a discussion group to ask any questions you have, wherever you're at in the course.

I'm also totally available to contact and ask any questions you have (without any pushy/hard sell/do it! pressure) so you can make a confident decision about whether or when to take the course.


Are online content purchases refundable?

Because of the instantly viewable/downloadable nature of these products, all purchases of pre-recorded online content is non-refundable.  This includes all video, audio and PDF files.


What if I purchase a product and then it goes on sale afterwards?

We totally understand that it's disappointing to purchase something and then see it go on sale afterwards.  Unfortunately, it's impractical for us to issue refunds to people who purchased before and/or missed a sale because it sets a precedent that, in order to be fair, would require us to issue refunds to everyone who had previously made a purchase.  This would ultimately render sales an unviable option to promote the course.  Yes, we do understand that some retailers like Costco, Walmart and Best Buy offer very generous price adjustment policies, we (for better or, I suppose in this case, worse) are not Costco, Walmart and Best Buy, we're just two people who do everything ourselves. 

Tip: While we can't guarantee we'll always know (I once decided when I woke up to do a daylong birthday sale), if you're planning on purchasing a product you can always contact us and we would totally let you know if a planned sale is pending.


Are video files downloadable?

Video content can only be viewed thru your herbcraft.podia.com account.


Are MP3(audio) and PDF files downloadable?

Yes, both are.  MP3 audio files can also be streamed from your herbcraft.podia.com account for when you are out and about, so you don't need to use up the precious memory on your device.


Are the live stream classes recorded?  When will the  supporting PDF files be available?

Yes they are recorded and are available for streaming play back within 48 hours after the class (usually its up within a few hours).  PDF files will be available within 48 hours too (usually we get to it the next morning).


How long do I have to watch the play back recording?

Different classes may be available for different lengths of time.  Please see the instructions PDF for the class you are wondering about.


Is a live stream class refundable?

For the most part, live stream classes are non-refundable.  However, if a class is for any reason cancelled or there is an irresolvable technical difficulty on our end, it will be rescheduled as soon as possible and everyone who has already paid will be given access again.  Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for streaming or playback issues related to how well your device or internet connection works.  We'll know if the problem is on our end because it will affect everyone viewing the class.


What if the live stream class stops playing or lags on my device?

We’re streaming the class from a venue with super stable, super fast internet, which means on our end, the stream is pretty rock solid.  However, depending on where you are, what your internet or cellular service is like, and the processor on the device you’re using, you may (alas!) experience skips, lags, or other bothersome impediments to your stream.  We understand that this can be frustrating, but in many cases, resolution of these issues is beyond our control.


Some things that might help, though: 

  • Refresh your player window.  You should be able to re-join the live stream.  You may have to do this several times during the live stream, depending on your internet and device capabilities.  Also, don’t worry, a replay of the class will be posted in your herbcraft.podia.com account within 24 hours after the live stream version has ended, along with any supporting PDF files (if there are any).

• Close any other programs that might be using up your processor’s vital force. 

• On the Vimeo player, click the “gear” symbol on the lower right side of the player, and choose a lower playback speed (the speed will usually be set at “Auto”, but can be manually adjusted from 1080 to 720 to 540. Slower speeds will play better, though you may lose some video quality). 
  
Once again, we unfortunately cannot be responsible for how well your device or internet connection works.


What if I pay in advance for a live stream class and miss it?

If you miss a class you've paid in advance for (whether because you were so warm and cozy in bed, or your internet connection was lacking, or perhaps you started watching Doctor Who and couldn't pull yourself away), a Live Stream Replay will be available within 24 hours along with downloadable PDF handouts supporting the class content (if included in a given class).
