In an effort to make my teachings available to people who otherwise are unable to access them, I am offering two different scholarship opportunities for 2026 lindera: an online herbal intensive.

There are all kinds of reasons why people who would like to study with me might have difficulties making it happen:  some belong to underserved or marginalized communities, some may have a disability, some may be overextended by the expense of parenting/single parenting, some may be footing the costs of caregiving for a loved one, some may be living in communities or countries where the wages, cost of living, or exchange rate just doesn't make the cost of the course realistic, and so on... 

In offering these scholarships, we're not going to ask anyone to justify their need: you won't need to stress about writing us a story trying to prove you're worthy of a scholarship.

Before you apply for the scholarship, however, I would like to ask that you deeply consider the following intentions I have for it:

The scholarships being offered are limited and not endless, so please do take time to consider whether you need this.  Our intention in offering these scholarships is to make the course available to those who would not be able to participate, and not those looking to get the "best deal" on the course if they can otherwise afford it.

In my ideal world, those applying for these scholarships will be inclined not only to apply the topics covered to their own personal study of herbalism, but also to share the information they learn with their communities... by this I don't mean sharing your username and password (please don't do that), but sharing your own understanding of the material so that it can get out there and help more people.

So... if you'd like to apply, please send an email to herbcraft.podia@gmail.com.  Please be sure to put the words "Scholarship Application" in your email's subject line so we don't miss it. 

Let us know whether you're applying for the $825 (thats 50% off) or $1155 (that's 30% off) scholarship or both.

We also need to know if you would like a payment plan (we have 6, 12 & 18 month options). Please also include contact information (name, email, phone number are all required) and a short note... again, we're not asking you to justify your need, but it helps to get some sense of you as a person.  

In the event that we receive more applications than there are scholarships available (which will likely be the case), we will randomly choose from the applications we receive.
